There are two sections: 1) General Awareness 2) Subject Specialization. The test is of objective type except for the descriptive one. There are 50 questions in General Awareness section out of 40 needs to be attempted. Each questions carries 1 mark. 2 questions are of descriptive type. Each of 5 marks. So total comes to (40x1)+(5x2)=50.


Same is the case with other section i.e. Subject Specialization. In this section there are 75 questions out of which only 60 needs to be attempted. Each qt carries 1.5 mark. 2 again are of descriptive type. Each of 5 mark. So total comes to (60x1.5)+(5x2)=100.

ALL THE BEST GUYS! You have to study a lot for ONGC exams because it is one of the toughest paper. One cannot just go and sit for the exam with out studying. Because its useless. Study hard. Read all history, economics, current affairs, geography and basic of maths. and for subjective you should know basics of all electronics related subjects like Fiber optics, Instrumentation, EDC, Networks, Telecommunication, etc.

if any chartered accountant is appering in the ONGC exam for accounts & finance post with having already 3 years of articleship eperience than what will be the sample test paper, so that accordingly he he will be able to crack the exam
